摘要Mg-40%AB(2) nano/amorphous composite was produced by ball-milling. The kinetics, cycling properties and the resistance to oxidation were examined. This composite possesses high hydrogen storage capacity (4.4%) and excellent kinetic properties, even at moderate temperature. XRD, SEM, EDS and TEM were used to characterize the composite before and after hydriding. The nanometer size amorphous Zr0.9Ti0.1(Ni0.57Mn0.28V0.1Co0.05)(2.1) particles, distributing uniformly on the surface and in the bulk of Mg particles, and a significant amount of phase boundary, imperfections introduced by ball-milling contribute to the enhanced hydrogen absorption/desorption rate.
