摘要 | The effect of boundary conditions on computer simulating dislocation patterns of a fatigued copper single crystals was studied by using the method of discrete dislocation dynamics in two-dimensional system. The results show that the boundary condition is very important to study the phenomenon of dislocation self-organization. The free-space boundary condition cannot yield a reasonable results, however, the one-dimensional and two-dimensional periodic boundary conditions could yield better results which are similar to the experimental observation of dislocation walls in early stage of fatigued copper single crystal. |
