摘要	A microcrystalline Ni-22Cr-13Al-0.5Y(wt%) coating was prepared on superalloy K38G by means of multi-arc plating. The samples with & without the enamel coatings were tested in air at 900degreesC and in melts of 75wt%NaCl+25wt%Na2SO4 at 850degreesC. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM),X-ray diffraction (XRD) and electron probe microanalysis (EPMA) were used to characterize the surface morphology, grain sizes and composition of the coatings and the corrosion products. The results indicated that the Ni-Cr-Al-Y coating consisted mainly of gamma-Ni solid solution and gamma-Ni3Al phases. The enamel coated specimens exhibited excellent hot corrosion resistance in the molten salt, in comparison with the multi-arc deposited Ni-Cr-Al-Y coating alone. During hot corrosion test, no breakaway corrosion occurred on the samples with the enamel coating up to an exposure time of 60 h and the composition of the enamel did not significantly change.
