摘要	The leaves and stems of Quercus variabilis Blume afforded a new cycloartane nortriterpenoid, 3 alpha-acetyloxy-4 alpha, 14 alpha-dimethyl-9 beta, 19-cycloergost-24-oic acid (1), along with five known compounds (2-6).
