摘要在Al-Mg合金基础上发展起来的Al-Mg-Sc-Zr合金,由于低密度﹑高强度﹑耐蚀﹑可焊和热稳定性良好等特点而日益受到人们关注。本文主要研究了Al-Mg-Sc-Zr合金中初生和脱溶Al3(Sc, Zr)相的析出﹑粗化及其对合金组织和性能的影响。 采用显微组织观察﹑拉伸试验等手段,研究了Al-Mg-Sc-Zr合金中Al3(Sc, Zr)沉淀相的析出及其对冷变形合金再结晶的抑制作用。实验结果表明:过饱和固溶体在冷却过程中析出了共格的Al3(Sc, Zr)相颗粒,该相具有良好的热稳定性。Al3(Sc, Zr)相颗粒在退火过程中能够起到稳定亚结构的作用,使合金再结晶温度较传统Al-Mg合金提高200℃以上。 变形态Al-Mg-Sc-Zr合金中大量位错等缺陷的存在成为Sc, Zr原子的快速扩散通道,容易导致Al3(Sc, Zr)相颗粒在较低温度的退火时发生粗化。在Al-Mg-Sc-Zr合金热轧后提高中间退火温度﹑延长保温时间﹑增大热轧变形量均能引起随后冷变形态合金再结晶温度的降低。透射电镜观察表明合金在高温或长时间退火过程中发生了Al3(Sc, Zr)沉淀相的粗化,第二相颗粒的粗化引起颗粒密度的降低及共格应力场的减弱,降低了对冷变形合金再结晶的抑制能力。 多道次的冷加工和退火有可能引起冷轧合金强度的降低。研究了多道次冷轧时退火温度与次数对冷变形合金力学性能的影响。结果表明:采用450℃×1h退火工艺进行多次加工后合金强度出现下降,而采用400℃×1h退火时强度无明显变化。透射电镜观察表明多次较高温度的退火后Al3(Sc, Zr)沉淀相发生粗化。粗化行为一方面降低了颗粒的第二相强化作用,另一方面也减弱了退火过程中对亚结构的稳定作用。 凝固过程中析出的初生相对铸态合金晶粒具有强烈细化作用,其尺寸﹑形貌﹑结构等因素会对合金力学性能产生重要的影响。研究了凝固过程中液态金属冷却速率对初生相析出行为的影响。快速凝固时,初生相的析出被完全抑制;在缓慢冷却条件下,室温组织中的析出物为Al3Sc﹑Al3Zr和Al3(Sc, Zr)相,其中Al3(Sc, Zr)为Zr在Al3Sc相中形成的固溶体;采用铁模冷却时,初生相为细小的Al3(Sc, Zr)相,该相具有一种特殊的复合结构,其形成原因是由于初生相生长过程中长大方式的改变引起的。
其他摘要In recent years, new Al-Mg-Sc-Zr alloys developed from the conventional Al-Mg alloys have gained more attention due to its low density, high strength,good corrosion resistance, weldbility and excellent thermal stability. In this paper, precipitation and coarsening of the Al3(Sc, Zr) phase and its effects on the properties of the alloy have been investigated. Precipitation of coherent Al3(Sc, Zr) particles and its effect on stabilizing the deformed microstructure were studied by tensile test and TEM, OM observation. The result shows that nanoscale coherent Al3(Sc, Zr) particles with excellent thermal stability were produced during decomposition of the solid solution. This particles could inhibit transformation of the deformed structure, increasing the recrystallization temperature of the alloy by 200℃. Nanoscale coherent Al3(Sc, Zr) particles may have higher coasening rate in the deformed alloys during the intermediate annealing in the course of hot rolling. Factors influencing the coarsening rate were studied. Higher annealing temperature, longer annealing time and larger deformation rate in hot rolling could promote coasening of the Al3(Sc, Zr) particles. Coasening of the particles led to drop of the number density of the particles and lower coherent strains. Consequently, recrystallization resistance of the alloy would decrease. Repeated deformation and intermediate annealing need to be applied during the cold work. Influence of the annealing temperature and annealing times on the properties of the cold worked alloy was studied. Higher intermediate annealing temperature and frequent annealing could lead to loss in strength of the cold worked alloy. Microstructure observation revealed that coherent Al3(Sc, Zr) phase coasened during the higher temperature annealing, some particles lost coherency with the matrix. Coasening of the particles not only weakened its precipitation strenthening effect but also the ability to stabilizing the deformed structure during intermediate annealing. Primary precipitates formed during solidification could significantly refine grain size of the as-cast alloy. Influence of cooling rate of the melt alloy on the precipitation behavior of the primary precipitates were studied. With very slow cooling rate, big size Al3Sc, Al3Zr and Al3(Sc, Zr) with unregular shape were obtained; Rapid solidification could completely restrain formation of the primary precipitates; when using the iron mold, square particles of Al3Zr phase were formed. This kind of particles have a special structure with square shell wrapping the square shaped dendrite. Formation of such a structure was explained as a change in growth mode during the cooling of the melt metal.
