The manufacture processes, mechanical properties, formability and damping characteristics of steel-plastic-steel laminate steel for deep drawing have been studied in this thesis. The results show that when the skin steel sheet was determined, the formability was obviously improved with increasing bounding strength. Up to the 15 Mpa of shear bonding strength, the formability of laminate steel sheet have the same level with the skin steel sheet. It is distinct for improvement of shear bonding strength to select reasonable resin material. Also, automatic torsion pendulum controlled by computer and vico-elastic analyser have been used to research damping characteristics of laminate steel sheet. The vibration characteristic of laminate steel sheet is changed with the change of temperature regularly. At the glass transformation temperature of resin, the loss factor of damping sheet has the maximum value, which is two orders greater than that of common steel sheet. The different damping sheets have different glass transformation temperature and the maximum value of loss factor.
