The high temperature corrosion behavior of Hastelloy C 276, Fe-based S2E, HK40 alloy and four types of Ni3Al base intermetallic compounds in C12-containing and low O2 pressure atmosphere are investigated by means of TGA, SEM, EPMA and XRD. Four types of Ni3Al-based intermetallics are numbered mainly according to Cr and Zr Content in them, respectively. The experimental results show that the corrosion resistance of Ni3Al-based intermetallics, especially of 10#Ni3Al with Cr and Zr-free addition, is superior to any other alloys, the chlorination resistance of Hastelloy C 276 overlaid by more perfect oxide scale is better than that of Fe-based S28 snd HK40 alloy, the latter suffer most serve chloride attack.
