Delamination of polymer coated steel can be easily evaluated by six equivalent circuits models. With the help of the data fitting computer software, the anti-corrosion ability of some pigments filled paints and Zinc powders filled paints are studied and compared. In real corrosion system, different fitting models are chosen according to different degradation phases and different pigments. On the other hand, these physical models are made use of in studying the corrosion mechanisms of polymer-coated metals. The degradation and inhibition mechanisms of coatings filled with shielding, active and passivating pigments respectively are proposed. Based on quivalent circuits parameters and corrosion potential changing with immersion time, the anti-corrosion lifetime and proerties are evaluated.
