Corrosion behavior of laser powder bed fusion prepared antibacterial Cu-bearing titanium alloy

摘要This work mainly investigated the corrosion behavior of laser powder bed fusion prepared antibacterial copper -bearing titanium (LPBF-TiCu) alloy. LPBF-TiCu alloy possessed excellent corrosion resistance and protective passive film in 3.5% NaCl solution due to the finer alpha'-Ti laths and more homogeneous dislocations. Besides, LPBF-TiCu alloy promoted the cell proliferation with antibacterial rate up to 94.81%. These results indicated that LPBF-TiCu alloy would gain new opportunities for clinical application as the novel personalized implants.
