摘要 | Tannic acid (TA) is a plant polyphenolcapable of coating hydrothermallygrown LiFePO4 nanocrystals by simple wet impregnation anddrying. Mild pyrolysis in an inert atmosphere transforms the TA coatingon LiFePO4 nanocrystals into homogeneous and compact carbonfilms. Introducing conductive carbon films on LiFePO4 nanocrystalsincreases the electrical conductivity of the LiFePO4/Ccomposite. However, reaction kinetics revealed that excessively thickcarbon films limit the Li+ diffusivity of the LiFePO4/C composite during delithiation/lithiation. Therefore, theelectrical conductivity and Li+ diffusivity must be balancedto achieve the required electrochemical properties. |
