摘要 | Professor Xinhe Bao has long been engaged in the research and development of heterogeneous catalysis and energy conversion processes. His research efforts have focused on discovering and elaborating the correlations between the structure, properties, and catalytic performance of nanocatalysts under nanoconfined conditions. Among his many achievements are the development of fundamental concepts for catalysis, establishment of in situ/operando characterization methods, and construction of high-performance catalyst systems. Specifically, he has proposed the concept of "nanoconfined catalysis", which has been successfully applied in spatially confined and interface-confined systems, and he has suggested the oxide-zeolite (OXZEO) process as an alternative technological platform for converting syngas to value-added chemicals and fuels. This account provides an overview of Professor Xinhe Bao's distinguished and ongoing career. We highlight several representative works from his team, although this report is not intended to be comprehensive. |
