摘要 | The effect of quenching rate on corrosion and mechanical properties of a novel Na2MoO4@CNT/Al-Zn-Mg-Cu composite is investigated. The results show that the corrosion resistance of this composite is not sensitive to quenching rate, maintaining a low corrosion rate of similar to 0.01 mm/y in 0.6 mol/L NaCl solution and the highest resistance to intergranular and exfoliation corrosion. Besides, ultrahigh strength of this composite decreases but the elongation increases greatly with decreasing the quenching rate. The low quenching sensitivity to corrosion results from the formation of protective surface films promoted by surface enrichment of the MoO42- ions spontaneously released from exposed CNTs. |
