Spheroidization Behavior and Kinetic Model of Plate-Like δ Phase of DP-GH4169 Alloy During Hot Deformation

摘要The spheroidization behavior and kinetic model of plate-like delta phase of DP-GH4169 alloy during hot deformation were investigated by OM, TEM and isothermal compression tests. The results show that the dissolved behavior of plate-like delta phase is mainly controlled by the diffusion of Nb from delta/gamma phase boundaries to matrix gamma. In the process of hot deformation, the dissolving has little effect on the spheroidization behavior of plate-like delta phase. The spheroidization critical strain epsilon(c) of plate-like delta phase depends on the deformation temperature and strain rate. The spheroidization critical strain epsilon(c) of plate-like delta phase is from 0.04 to 0.10 in the isothermal compression tests, and it decreases with the deformation temperature increasing or the strain rate decreasing. The relationship between the spheroidized volume fraction of plate-like delta phase and the thermal deformation parameters is in accord with the Avrami equation.
