摘要 | In this work, corrosion inhibition of X80 steel caused by Cetylpyridinium Chloride (CPC) in the presence of sulfate -reducing bacteria (SRB) was studied. The results showed that SRB accelerated the steel corrosion, whereas CPC had a good antibacterial activity against SRB corrosion. The growth of SRB was significantly inhibited with CPC concentration 10 mg L-1. The addition of 80 mg L-1 reduced the corrosion rate by 80 % in the presence of SRB. Molecular dynamics simulation and adsorption isotherm calculation showed that CPC can be adsorbed on the steel surface to form a protective film to protect steel form corrosion. |
