摘要 | The microstructure of laser additively manufactured nickel-based superalloy was analyzed using multi-scale characterization. The phase composition of the as-deposited sample was determined. The formation mechanisms of beta-NiAl and C14-Laves phases were studied in depth. The crystallographic orientation relationship between the beta-NiAl and C14-Laves phases was elucidated. The formation of the beta-NiAl phase exacerbates the elemental segregation at the interface, leading to the generation of micro-strain and dislocations that provide nucleation sites for the C14-Laves phase. In addition, the effect of solidification rate on the precipitation of precipitated phases from the alloy was excluded. The present work contributes to understanding the precipitation behavior of beta-NiAl and C14-Laves phases in nickel-based superalloys. |
