An new contribution of Ru to the anti-rumpling characteristics of β-(Ni,Pt) Al coatings during cyclic oxidation at 1150 ° C

摘要The thermal cycling behavior of beta-(Ni,Pt)Al coatings covered on two different superalloys (one without Ru and one with additional Ru) was investigated at 1150 degrees C. The results showed that a few beta to gamma ' phase transitions caused a slight rumpling of beta-(Ni,Pt)Al coating on the superalloy doped with Ru. Ru in the superalloy entered the beta phase of coating by diffusion and inhibited the diffusion of Al, thereby postponing the transition of the beta phase and the subsequent rumpling of the coating.
