摘要 | To expand the size of the electron beam smelted superalloy ingot, the method of electron beam drip melting layer solidification technology (EBDS-LST) was employed to prepare a GH4068 superalloy ingot with a diameter of 220 mm and a height of 550 mm. The ingot's structural characteristics, segregation situation, and homogenization behavior were investigated. The results show that the EBDS-LST GH4068 ingot exhibits no macroscopic segregation, with grains forming an ordered composite structure of "columnar grain-equiaxed grain-columnar grain". There is only primary dendrite present within the ingot, and the precipitated phase between dendrite cores is (gamma+gamma ') eutectic phase only. The electron beam drip melting process effectively reduces the depth of the melt pool, with a melt pool aspect ratio (MPAR) of 7.3. The segregation degree in the solidified portion decreases with an increase in the number of solidification layers. The typical segregation coefficients for Ti and W are K-Ti > 0.7 and K-W<1.5, respectively. The optimal single-stage homogenization process for the ingot was determined to be at 1160 C-degrees for 20h. |
