摘要 | We theoretically investigate the optical properties of semiconductor- and metal-type armchair-edge graphene nanoribbon irradiated under an external longitudinal polarized electromagnetic field at low temperatures, respectively. Within the framework of linear response theory in the perturbation regime, we examine the real conductance, dielectric function, and electron energy loss spectra of the systems. It is demonstrated that by numerical examples, some photon-assisted intersubband transitions from visible to ultraviolet light exist with different selection rules from those of both zigzag-edge graphene nanoribbon and single-walled carbon nanotube. Our results are of particular significance for exploring new effects of dimensional reduction in graphene and its optoelectronic applications. |
