摘要 | Microbial-corrosion resistance of Cu-containing ferrite stainless steels after antibacterial treatment in heterotrophic bacteria culture medium was investigated by means of various electrochemical techniques and microbial methods. The results showed that corrosion potential changed orderly along with metabolism of heterotrophic bacteria. Antibacterial treatment helped to enhance the stability of passive film and reduce the pitting sensibility when stainless steel was immersed in culture medium. Dispersion distributed epsilon-Cu phase on the surface of antibacterial stainless steel depressed activity of heterotrophic bacteria, thereafter alleviated the heterotrophic bacteria corrosion and improved the microbiological corrosion resistance of antibacterial stainless steel.; Microbial-corrosion resistance of Cu-containing ferrite stainless steels after antibacterial treatment in heterotrophic bacteria culture medium was investigated by means of various electrochemical techniques and microbial methods.
