High pressure and high temperature synthesis and characterization of a new mixed valence perovskite oxide Eu0.62K0.38TiO3

摘要Anew mixed valence perovskite oxide Eu0.62K0.38TiO3 was synthesized using a high pressure and high temperature method. XRD analysis showed that the sample is single phase and has a cubic structure. EPR and Mossbauer measurements indicated that the Eu ions are in mixed valence state between +3 and +2 in the sample. The high pressure and high temperature synthesis method has some advantages.
