摘要The deformation induced ferrite transformation (DIFT) is investigated using the Monte Carlo method. It is found that there is a temporal oscillatory behavior in DIFT due to the reverse transformation. The critical strain and dislocation density for the onset of DIFT are determined. The diffusion behavior of carbon atoms in the system and the effect of strain rates on DIFT are analyzed. (C) 2003 Acta Materialia Inc. Published by Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
