摘要 | Tb4O7-doped WO3 ceramics were fabricated with conventional ceramic technique and current-voltage properties were measured from room temperature to 500degreesC. The sample, with atom ratio of W to Tb equal to 95/5, exhibits nonlinear I-V property characterized with symmetry and smooth below 100degreesC. With temperature increasing, nonlinearity of the samples decreases, but, beyond 300degreesC, the varistor effect of the sample reappears to some extent and the nonlinear coefficient alpha is around 4 at 500degreesC in the current density range of 10(-3) to 10(-2) A/cm(2). The coexistence of two phases in Tb-WO3 ceramics was observed by means of XRD at high temperature, and net polarization from two different phases at grain boundaries was related to electrical nonlinearity.
