摘要	The magnetic properties of mixed Ising ferromagnetic and ferrimagnetic systems consisting of spin-1/2 and spin-3/2 with a longitudinal magnetic field are investigated within the framework of the effective-field theory with correlations. The thermal behaviors of magnetizations, magnetic susceptibilities and the phase diagrams are examined in detail. We find some interesting phenomena in these quantities, due to the applied longitudinal magnetic field. (C) 2003 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
