摘要	Reactions between Ti3SiC2 and Al in the temperature range of 600-650 degreesC were investigated. The results indicated that Al reacted with Ti3SiC and new phases Al3Ti, Al4SiC4 and Al4C3 were formed. The reactions were closely related to the time and temperature as well as the relative amount of Al and Ti3SiC2. (C) 2003 Acta Materialia Inc. Published by Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
