Influence of pressure on the grain sizes in the crystallization process of an amorphous FeMo-Si-B alloy

摘要The influence of pressure on the grain size of Fe-Mo-Si-B nanocrystalline alloy was investigated by annealing amorphous (Fe-0.99,Mo-0.01)(78)Si9B13(FMSB) alloy at temperatures from 723 to 933 K under pressures of 3-5 GPa. It was found that the effect of pressure on the grain size of the crystallized nanostructured alloy came mainly from the effect on nucleation rate, and the root cause was due to the effect on the melting point of the FMSB alloy.
