THE FORMATION OF INTERFACES IN NANOCRYSTALLINE AG STUDIED BY PLS

摘要Positron lifetime spectroscopy (PLS) was used to investigate nanocrystalline Ag compacted under different pressures. The results indicate that the formation of interfaces in nanocrystalline Ag is completed essentially at the pressure p = 0.6 GPa. Based on this results, a density criterion D0 almost-equal-to 96% was proposed for the formation of bulk nanostructured materials.
