AbstractThe specific heat of partially deuterated (NH4)(2)TeCl6 is measured using an adiabatic continuous heating method to study the isotope effect of deuteron on structural phase transition of (NH4)(2)TeCl6. A linear reduction of transition temperature T (c1) with increasing deuteron concentration is observed and a simple model is proposed to explain this result.
