METASTABLE ALLOYS FORMED IN SOME YB-BASED SYSTEMS UPON ION IRRADIATION

摘要Amorphization of the (Fe, Co, Ni, Al, Si)-Yb multilayered alloy films under Xe+ and Ar+ irradiation at room temperature is studied. It is found that (Co, Ni, Al, Si)-Yb alloy films are amorphized or partially amorphized by ion beam mixing, while Fe-Yb alloy films are not amorphized at two selected compositions. The recrystallization temperatures of the (Co, Ni, Al, Si)-Yb amorphous alloys are also determined.
