Methane Oxidation by Lanthanum Oxide Doped with Cu, Zn, Mg, Fe, Nb, Ti, Zr, or Ta: The Connection Between the Activation Energy and the Energy of Oxygen-Vacancy Formation

摘要We measure the effective activation energy of methane oxidation catalyzed by La2O3 doped with Cu, Zn, Mg, Fe, Nb, Ti, Zr, or Ta. We find that the measured activation energy is a linear function of the calculated energy of oxygen-vacancy formation.
