AbstractAn abrupt increase in the Tafel slope and the charge transfer resistance (R-ct) of V(V) ions on a graphite electrode are both observed at a transition potential (E-K). The possible vanadium complexes such as V2O33+ might result in the change of reduction mechanism and the unusual phenomena.
