AbstractThe influence of Cl- concentration and acidity to the polarization curves of iron electrode is measured. The kinetic parameters of the anodic and cathodic process of iron electrode is obtained. And the corresponding reaction mechanisms is suggested. The thoeretical values of corrosion parameters are in agreement with the experimental values.
