Effect of mould holding temperature on the microstructure and mechanical property of Ni base single crystal superalloy

摘要Effect of mould holding temperature on the microstructure and mechanical properties of single crystal superalloy DD98 have been investigated. The results show that with the increase of up/down mould holding temperatures, the temperature gradient increases and the width of mushy zone decreases, the primary and secondary dendritic arm spacings decrease, the shape of gamma' phase particles tends to be more regular, and the micro segregation decreases. The size of gamma' phase particles and the amount of remained gamma-gamma' eutectic phase decrease after heat treatment at higher mould holding temperatures. The creep rupture life increases with the increase of mould holding temperature, while the elongation decreases.
