摘要 | The degradation behavior on the bone/implant interface of magnesium, surface modified magnesium and the effects of implant on the surrounding bone were investigated for the early stage (1 similar to 5weeks) of implantation in the femora of rabbits. After I and 5 weeks, the bone-implant interface on undecalcified sections was characterized by optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), EDS and X-ray photo. Results showed that the new bone deposited fast around the implant, indicating that the degradation of magnesium dose not influence the bone regeneration. The results revealed that the degradation process of magnesium is safe and magnesium has a good histocompatibility. |
