Ferroelectric polar vortex has attracted increasing interest for large applications prospects in data storage. In this paper,the polarization state and the effects of both misfit strain and electrical boundary condition on polar vortices in PbTiO_3 layers of dielectric/ferroelectric( SrTiO_3/PbTiO_3)_4 and electrode/ferroelectric( La_(0. 7)Sr_(0. 3)MnO_3/PbTiO_3)_4 superlattices grown on different scandate substrates are investigated by using Cs-corrected transmission electron microscopy. With misfit strain increasing,the pattern of vortex changes slightly and then a domain arises to release the large tensile strain. Meanwhile the periodic vortices can be stabilized in the PbTiO_3 layers with La_(0. 7)Sr_(0. 3)MnO_3 as an interlayer,which may prompt the development of researches on its applications.
