AbstractThe formation mechanism of {11 (2) over bar1}<<(1)over bar>(1) over bar 26> twins (TT2), primary paired {10 (1) over bar2}<<(1)over bar>011> twins (TT1) and secondary twins in Zircaloy-4 alloy with coarse alpha lamellae was studied using EBSD technique. The formation mechanism of TT2, primary paired TT1 and secondary twins was discussed and a model was finally proposed.
