The hollow Fe2O3/RGO microwave absorbent toward marine environment

摘要Till now, the application environment of absorbing materials, especially the marine environment,Data curation Investigation has never been concerned. Herein, hollow shuttle-shaped Fe2O3 composites and Fe2O3 particle two samples prepared via ML-53(Fe) precursor were successfully distributed on the reduced graphene (RGO) matrix. The microwave absorption performance of Fe2O3/RGO and corrosion resistance of corresponding coatings (constituted with Fe2O3/RGO powder and epoxy resin) have been investigated. Specifically, compared with sample Fe2O3 particles decorated in the graphene, the heterogeneous shuttle-shaped Fe2O3/RGO indicates excellent electromagnetic response unexpectedly, i.g., the wider EAB reach 5.4 GHz at the thickness of only 2 mm and the minimum reflection (RLmin) is up to -52 dB. For the corrosion resistance of coatings, high impedance values of them display that both the two samples show outstanding barrier effect through delaying water penetration. Hence, such innovative configurations may pave the way for designing other excellent microwave absorbent toward marine environment.
