Abstract | To prepare Re-Hf co-doped beta-NiAl coating, a simple and universal method of composite electroplating NiRe + Hf particles and subsequent arc ion plating (AIN was adopted. The result indicated that Re-Hf co-doped beta-NiAl coating were composed of outer beta-NiAl layer with dispersed (Re,Hf)-rich precipitates and inner interdiffusion zone (IDZ), and Re/Hf revealed interesting interaction effect during vacuum annealing. Moreover, the formation of (Re,Hf)-rich precipitates was attributed to the strong affinity of Re and Hf. |
