Excellent microwave absorbing properties of Fe/MnO@C composites with three carbon skeleton structures

摘要The microstructure is an essential factor affecting electromagnetic wave absorption performance. However, the previous literature reported less about how to prepare absorbers with the same components but different mi-crostructures in a group of experiments with organic ligands to compare the advantages of structures. Herein, with FeMn MOF as the precursor, the work provided three structures of core-shell, nanotube, and hollow with Fe/MnO/C via facile methods, including FeMn MOF synthesis, etching, encapsulating, and calcination. The hollow structures have excellent absorbency among the three structural absorbers due to the best impedance matching. The optimized reflection loss (RL) of sample HP-Fe/MnO/C is up to -57.6 dB, and the effective absorption band (EAB) is 7.6 GHz (10.4-18 GHz) at a thickness of 2.6 mm. Therefore, this hollow multi-interface design definitely shed light on novel structure for new excellent absorbers.
