AbstractA boson-fermion model with two bands of different masses is formulated. The exact eigenstates of the model Hamiltonian are constructed by using the Bethe ansatz. The Bethe ansatz equations are obtained from the periodic boundary conditions. Only bound states like Cooper-pairs exist in this system. It is concluded that this model is completely integrable only when the two masses are the same.
