Abstract本发明提供了一种室温磁致冷材料,其特征在于:同时含有Mn、P、B三种元素,且其主相为Mn5PB2,空间群为I4/mcm,四角形结构;其中,主相Mn5PB2占所述磁致冷材料重量百分比为60~100%,具有热滞小,磁滞小,不含稀土,居里点合适的优点,Mn5PB2在3000Oe磁场时,磁化强度已是达饱和值的80%,可在相对低的永久磁铁NdFeB建立的3000Oe磁场下应用,使得磁致冷机体积小。
