| Abstract | The ferrite and austenite stainless steels containing a suitable amount of Cu may be of antibacterial ability after a special antibacterial treatment. The distribution and appearance of the precipitates appeared in the Cu-contained stainless steels were studied with TEM. The results of antibacterial examination show that Cu-contained ferrite and austenite stainless steels have broad-spectrum antibacterial properties. By using bio-TEM, a obvious change of the bacterium appearance on the surface of antibacterial stainless steel is observed and a lot of bacteria enchyma leaks out. |
