| Abstract | The macro strain/stress states of a nickel-base single crystal superalloy during four point bending test were measured by XRD. The results have been compared with those from the strain gage and mechanical tension. The differences calculated by different elastic constants and different peak profile fittings were also analyzed. It is concluded that the deviation of the stress measurement is acceptable, and its value is +/- 30 MPa, the results measured by XRD are consistent with those by strain gage and mechanical tension; the elastic constants of the matrix of the superalloy are larger than that of the precipitate and matrix shared more stress than precipitate during the four point bending test at room temperature. |
